INTRODUCTION
The Test is intended for determining the resistance of the colour of Textiles and Leather of all kinds to Rubbing off either Dry or Wet condition and Staining other materials.

EQUIPMENT
The K.V.S. Crockmeter consists of the Main unit having a Brass Rubbing Finger of Cylindrical shape. The Finger has an Ø of 16 mm. During the Crocking Test, the Finger is covered with CROCKING CLOTH (Standard Fabric) with the help of the Ring/Garment Clamp. It is than rubbed against the Test Specimen under a fixed load of 9 Newton's. The Finger is moved over the test specimen for 10 times and the colour transferred on to the Crocking Cloth is evaluated with the help of the Standard Grey Scales.

The K.V.S. Crockmeter is nicely finished in White paint. Other parts are chrome plated to give a Corrosion-Resistant fine finish.
