Construction
Chamber :  Double Wall
Exterior Chamber
:
Made of 18 swg CRC MS sheet with three coats of paint
OR
18 swg Stainless Steel Sheet 304 qlty.
Interior Chamber : Made of 18 swg Stainless Steel Sheet 304 qlty.
Insulation : The Interior Chamber is insulated with with 150 mm thick glass wool and Puff Insulation all around for ordering to limit radiation.
Door :  A full front opening door, double walled insulated and interior lined with Stainless Steel will be provided for ensuring full access to the working space inside the chamber.
Gasket : Two gaskets, one on the chamber and the other one for leakproofness at the door, are fitted.
Locking System :  The door is also provided with heavy duty hinges & latches with toggle type locking arrangement.
Portability :  Trolley mounting with casters for easy portability.
Air Circulation

The homogeneous condition of temperature inside the chamber maintaining by a forced blower with continuous duty rated TEFC motor for circulation. The conditioning space in the main chamber is baffled and heater and cooling coil is located in the conditioning space. The refrigeration unit is fitted under the chamber so as to ensure minimum space utilization.

Heating System
Low surface loading sealed tubular heaters conforming to IS-4159 provided to add heat in the chamber. The heaters are located in the conditioning space and there will not be any direct radiation of heat on the item under test.

Humidity System
Low-pressure moisture generator will be provided to generate moisture and add humidity in the chamber. The generator will be of minimum water level controller and mechanical float type refilling arrangement. Soft water will be used for the moisture generator.

Refrigeration System
Two-stage air cooled cascade refrigeration system will be provided working on freon 22 and 13 as refrigerants with evaporative cooling attachment for working in high summer ambient condition. The system is fitted with HP/LP cut off switch, overload protector, backup fuse protection etc. Low RH condition is maintained by smooth tube evaporation coil dehumidification arrangement.

Instrumentations
Dual loop microprocessor programmer with direct RH display is provided to carry out steady state as well as cyclic damp heat test. Solid state triac firing energy regulator with o to 100% proportional control for heaters is fitted with.

Control Panel
Control Panel will be provided at the lower side of the Chamber, which will house Microprocessor Based Programmer with direct RH display with Printing Facility, On/Off Switches, Fuses, Contactors, Indicating Lamps etc.

Wiring
All the channel type wiring will be as per IS code.

Utilities
1. One Stainless Steel bar shelf with adjustable height arrangement will be provided.
2. Window : 30 cm x 30 cm, 2 pane with low wattage heater and manually operated wiper.
3. Chamber Drain.
4. Chamber Interior Inspection Lamp.

Safety protection
1. Back up fuse protection for mains and individuals circuit.
2. Over temperature safety cut off thermostat with audiovisual alarm.
3. Overload protector for motor.
4. HP/LP cut off switch for compressor.
5. MCB for heaters.
6. Minimum water level controller with mechanical float type refilling arrangement will be provided.

Power Supply
230/415 Volts ±5 %, Single/Three Phase neutral, 50 c/s , AC power supply.
